İbrahim Kutluay (born December 7, 1973) is a Turkish former professional basketball player. He played at the shooting guard position. He scored a record 50 points at the 1996 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship against Italy,〔(FIBA.com Game: ITALY vs TURKEY (Group B) Date: 1 July 1996. )〕 and also 41 points in a Euroleague game against Cibona Zagreb during the 1998-99 season.〔(FIBAEurope.com KK Cibona VIP 85-84 Fenerbahçe SK Date: 10.02.1999, 18:00h )〕
==Professional career==
In his pro club career, Kutluay played with Fenerbahçe, Ülkerspor, and Efes Pilsen in Turkey, and he also played with AEK Athens, Panathinaikos, and PAOK in the Greek League, before going to the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics.
He was the Euroleague Top Scorer in 1999, with an average of 21.4 points per game. He continued his career as a commentator after he has retired from basketball.
